He grew up in India. He witnessed the poverty. He worked hard. He made it far. He made it big. The hard work that has been Naveen Jain’s life has bore fruit with every success that he and his company have achieved. It was neither a fluke nor a mere coincidence that the man has achieved so much but has yet to stop.
Since its foundation, Intelius has been growing exponentially over the past five years. The niche that they occupy in the current market, they have continued to explore. In 2004, profit was almost $20 million, impressive especially for a start-up company just a year in its operations. But this jumped to almost 90 million in 2007, a growth so big that it is impossible to believe it will stop there. Intelius consistently finds ways, provides top-notch service and then gives back. Maybe this is the company and Jain’s good karma.
Intelius, as a company, has consistently given back to the community. The company realizes the importance of inculcating generosity and charity into its business culture. Perhaps the most important thing that Intelius and its founder advocates is the help and mentorship it voluntarily provides to budding businessmen and student-entrepreneurs. The biggest evidence of this is the company’s tie-up with the Kairos Society, an organization of entrepreneurs cofounded by Ankur, Jain’s son. Events such as the Kairos Summit bring young entrepreneurs of different educational backgrounds all together for seminars that include some of America and the world’s leaders. Intelius has constantly been joining such events, represented by Naveen Jain, freely sharing tips and giving guidance that young entrepreneurial minds can use in their future ventures.
Indeed, Naveen Jain does not necessarily keep his good karma to himself. As he stated during the 2009 Kairos Summit, Intelius is committed to supporting groups and organizations dedicated to inspiring young entrepreneurs and innovators.
