Sean King

Prior to joining Park Strategies, Sean King spent five years with the United States Department of Commerce, serving as a Senior Advisor for Asia in the US and Foreign Commercial Sevice. At the Department of Commerce, he was responsible for heading all domesting USFCS outreach on US exports to mainland China. Additionally, Sean King went on several missions to Shanghai and Beijing together with former Secretary of Commerce Donald Evans, JW Marriott Jr of Marriott International Inc, and former New York State Governor George Pataki.

Way before Sean King joined the Department of Commerce, he was based in Singapore for both Citibank and PricewaterhouseCoopers. For two years, he actively took part in several consulting engagements like the launching of a credit card in Thailand and the creation of an export finance blueprint for the Southeast Asian government. King also worked for the New York State Department of Economic Development, which led to his headship of a Taiwan trade mission that took place in February of 1997.

Sean King earned his undergraduate degree from the American University in Washington DC, and his MBA from the Univesity of Notre Dame. As a requirement for his MBA, he engaged in a summer internship program for Citibank in Taipei in 1998.
